Our Mission
The International Affairs Society (IAS) is the largest non-partisan student organization on the George Washington University’s campus. The IAS is dedicated to promoting the teaching and understanding of international affairs to students, ultimately helping them engage with the world. We are constantly exploring new international topics and taking advantage of our unique location in the nation’s capital to open up the world to our diverse student body.

Conferences
The IAS hosts conferences for middle school, high school and university students to engage students of all levels in international affairs.
Programs
The IAS runs several programs for its members to advance research and engagement with international affairs, including academic research, site visits, speaker events and our internationally ranked Model UN Team.
